what are your locations?

Maui Beach Club has 3 convenient location along Maui’s South Shore: Wailea Beach, Kalama Park, and Ukumehame Beach. All of our rentals, kayak tours, and Outrigger Canoe tours are located at the beautiful Wailea Beach. Our Surf Lessons will take place at Kalama Park in Kihei, or Ukumehame Beach a few miles past Ma’alaea (weather dependent).

What is the minimum age for your acitivies?

The minimum age for surf lessons and our outrigger canoe tour is 5 years.

where will my surf lesson take place?

Our surf locations Kalama Park Kihei and Ukumehame Beach Park depend on current wave, swell, and weather conditions. We will assess the weather prior to your lesson and let you know the location.

What is provided for the Surf Lessons?

• Rash Guards or Surf Shirt

• Surfboards

• Booties

• Water 

What should we bring?

• Board Shorts or Bathing Suit

• Reef-Safe Sunblock

• Towels

What will we do during the outrigger canoe tour?

Let's go over all that your lesson will involve. First, we will talk story with you and see what level of surfing instruction is best for you. After we set you up with the gear (board, surf booties and our surf attire), we'll do some light stretching. Then we’ll go over weather and ocean conditions, as well as safety guidelines. 

While on land you’ll get a short surf demo and tutorial before we head out to the break where you will be catching the waves. Here we will guide and coach you hands on to perfect your technique. 

After your lesson, we can sit down and talk and give you feed back about our recent lesson. Here's our time to refine your technique and really set you up for success on your next session. When we are pau (done), we will take some pictures with you and provide you a download link to retrieve your captured memories.

Yes, absolutely! Our goal is to create your unique island adventure, only limited by your own imagination!
